This photography journey through Vietnam is carefully designed to deliver rare access, iconic scenes, and meaningful time behind the camera. In Hanoi, we focus on dynamic street photography, capturing everyday life, layered compositions, and decisive moments. You’ll photograph the vivid colors and graphic patterns of a traditional incense-making village, as well as the world-famous Train Street, where cafés with outdoor seating sit just inches from the tracks and the train barrels through the neighborhood—an exhilarating, high-energy setting perfect for storytelling and timing-driven images.

Along the coast and rivers, the focus shifts to authentic fishing culture, with intimate portraits of fishermen at work including sunrise and sunset sessions photographing fishing boats, nets, and life on the water. In Hoi An, the entire town is beautifully decorated with colorful lanterns, creating a magical atmosphere perfect for night and blue hour photography. We’ll capture stunning images of the glowing streets and riverside scenes, along with a private photography session with local women weaving fishing nets, offering exceptional opportunities for portraits and detailed textures in warm, soft light.

In Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), we combine photography, history, and exploration. We’ll visit and photograph the locations where some of the most iconic images of the Vietnam War were made, including sites associated with legendary photographers such as Nick Ut and Eddie Adams. These visits provide powerful historical context and a deeper understanding of the images that shaped global photojournalism. We’ll also spend time shopping in local markets and neighborhoods, offering additional opportunities for candid street portraits, details, and visual storytelling.

Throughout the journey, we balance iconic locations with rare access and local insight—ensuring photographers return with a diverse, compelling portfolio that goes far beyond the typical travel experience.
